Projects

- 2025 Facilities Department Financial Analysis - Conducted a financial analysis of the department spend at a large Childrens Hospital, comparing budget versus square footage as well as internal labor versus outside spend. Recommendations were made with potential savings in the millions over a 3-5 year period.

- 2024 Program Assessment and Implementation (APEX)-Partnered with an East Coast Critical Access Hospital in evaluating their entire facilities/engineering program utilizing Anchor's APEX Approach. The assessment revealed the lack of a consolidated repository for all compliance records, which Anchor then customized and built for this organization so they could maintain their facilities/plant ops/engineering regulatory documentation.

- 2024 Overall Program Assessment (APEX)-Partnered with a Critical Access Hospital in evaluating their entire facilities/engineering program utilizing Anchor's APEX Approach. This resulted in a 3-5 year Capital Plan along with an Operational Assessment into the Day-to-Day Operations. All findings were then incorporated in an Action Plan Tracking System with over 100 action items that would place them in highly compliant state of readiness upon completion.  This APEX Journey provided this CAH with a clear roadmap to success!

Perfect Execution

A Real Success

- 2023-2024 Reliability Centered Maintenance Project - Partnered with multi hospital healthcare system in evaluating their asset management portfolio in preparation for shifting their asset portfolio to an Alternative Equipment Maintenance (AEM) Program

- 2023 Talent Acquisition Project - Collaborated with a rural electric cooperative in hiring their New Fleet & Facilities Director. The position was posted in mid March 2023 and the new Director started 63 days later. 110 applicants, every resume reviewed. 22 selected and screened, 6 made the round of interviews, and 1 of those 6 candidates Anchor Facilities recommended was selected to this leadership role. This same electric cooperative engaged Anchor Facilities Management Inc. again in June 2023 to help them fill a vacant facilities operations manager role they had. That 2nd position was posted the first week of June and the new Facilities Operations Manager started the 3rd week of August, 76 days after posting.

Exceptional Achievement

- 2023 DNV Survey Prep - Assisted a west coast hospital with an overall regulatory assessment of their facilities compliance program in the Physical Environment (PE) Chapter as well as some parts of the Infection Control (IC) Chapter and restructured their compliance repository to make it easier to access all documentation expeditiously. Participated in a mock survey two months prior to actual survey and provided an action plan. The Facilities Department was recognized for their program at the DNV close out briefing.

- 2022-2023 Policy/Procedure Project - Worked with multi hospital system in reviewing and streamlining a facilities department policy/procedure database with over 700 policies and procedures into a program that would be governed by system wide policies and site specific procedures. The result of this plan eliminated a huge number policies that could be governed across the system with a single policy as opposed to having multiple policies across the hospital system governing the same topic.

- 2022 Overall Program Assessment - Helped a MidWest Critical Access Hospital in assessing their entire Facilities Management program. Put together a comprehensive solution to put their program back on the right path. The major components of this solution were 1) Assisting the organization in hiring a new facilities manager to lead the department, 2) Putting a regulatory documentation repository process together 3) Conducting an Infrastructure Assessment of all major equipment.

- 2022 Capital Infrastructure Assessment - Assisted a Mid-Atlantic Hospital with a major equipment infrastructure assessment. This assessment was then presented to the C-Suite which allowed them to immediately allocate the money they had to the equipment that needed it first.
